Webelos Resident Camp
Don't miss out on the adventure of a lifetime! This is the perfect opportunity for Webelos Scouts to begin their transition into Scouts BSA. This half-week program will challenge scouts while providing room for fun, advancement, and new activities. This is not your regular Cub Camping experience... Come ready to go wild and try out climbing, the bike track, water sports, and more!
The recording from our parent meeting can be found here.
To make life easier, we are providing transportation from Long Island to Onteora Scout Reservation. We will meet at the Council Program Center (544 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758) at 8:45 am, on August 10th. Scouts will be accompanied by qualified staff and fellow campers as we load our bus, and begin the adventure. Lunch will be provided along the way!
Parents/guardians are responsible for providing transportation back from camp on Saturday morning (10 am). If parents/guardians wish to come up Friday night, you are welcome to join. Please remember to register in advance ($50 fee), and we will provide tenting and food accordingly. The ability of parents to spend the night on Friday is dependant on NYS COVID Restrictions.
We strongly encourage participation in this program, as the perfect opportunity for your scout(s) to see what the scouting program is all about, and to provide the perfect opportunity for transitioning from Cub Scouts to Scouts BSA. Our staff is thoroughly trained and nationally certified in providing programs for first-year campers and new Scouts alike. You don't want to miss out... Sign-up today!
